Top straps are not ideal, but you can't hike off them easily.....so I guess that is good (ones that stand up is probably the best suggestion I have on this without moving them). Definate no on anything else that allows assisted hiking.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Spreader brakets, I agree with Stewart. We are on our 3rd set in 4 years !</DIV><DIV>Rudder fittings, I agree with Stewart. I also replaced the Jib halyard. The new YELLOW Spinlock with the yellow bit pushed to the left hand side of the jammer, works really well.<DIV>I think we have to remember that the halyards on these boats are under quite a bit of pressure and replacing them as and when is part of normal boat "maintenance"...It is not a "failure" of equipment it has just been used and needs replacing....</DIV><DIV>Geoff.</DIV>]]>
